The Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology has called for urgent action to address emerging waste challenges linked to the growing use of electric vehicles, solar panels and other green technologies.
The call was made during an official tour of agencies under the Ministry, with emphasis on developing recycling systems, strengthening waste segregation and preventing hazardous waste from becoming an environmental threat.
The Ministry says it will work closely with relevant agencies to stay ahead of the challenges of Ghana’s green transition.
